On the 31st August 2014 a small team of us are taking part in the “Nuts Challenge Mud Run” (obstacle course) which is an approx. 7km long course with a country mile to start, and is one of the most challenging military style assault courses out there – with around 100 obstacles per 7k!
Whilst crawling on our hands and knees and climbing up river banks and cargo netting, pushing through water that may be up to chest height and getting covered from head to toe in thick mud – we would love to raise money for The Tongole Foundation and run in memory of Vitu Kalanga who would have turned 24 this August.
The money raised will go towards the following projects we have planned:
1. Renovations of school blocks (helping the 3 Schools we are currently supporting)
2. Improvement of sanitation in the schools i.e. toilets
3. Building of a new school and teacher’s accommodation
4. Borehole at the new school
I am delighted to announce that this year we are raising funds through the St. James’s Place Foundation in aid of the Tongole Foundation and St. James’s place Foundation will enhance every pound by 50p!
ALL expenses are covered by us therefore 150% of funds go directly to the cause which is fantastic news!
If you would like to help us make a huge difference in Malawi, please click HERE and follow the simple steps. If you would like to send us a cheque, please make cheques payable to the St James’s Place Foundation, who will then send us the amount, plus 50% more back!
